Your donation helps in several programs we are part of. Below are only a few:

Adopta - Since the beginning of the year, the Adopta program has fulfilled 72 requests! We are already set to out pace last year’s deliveries in 2025. When people are getting into housing, their priority is being able to function in their home and to be clean. Our most frequently requested items are household cleaning supplies, bathroom kits, and hygiene kits, followed closely by kitchen kits. Feedback from those recently housed has been consistent: they have cupboards full of dried beans, rice, and pasta with no way of preparing them; folks coming out of homelessness do not have pots and pans. That is why it is so important for the community to help. The Adopta Kitchen kit is filled with everything necessary to prepare food! 

Housing Coalition - Throughout 2025, we will be continuing our Housing Collaboration that was jumpstarted last October. In February, we brought the group back together to discuss the general characteristics of the people our partners are looking to serve. We also heard from our new friend Kristopher at GHK Holdings about one of Tucson’s first housing developments being built on church property, Desert Dove Apartments. 

In March, Kristopher and his colleague, Hugh Martinez, led a Zoom webinar to share more details about the Desert Dove Apartments and other projects like it. They gave more details  of project timelines, funding options, and the importance of church involvement in the project. Jericho Ride - On March 22, 2025, we had nine church prayer stations for the 48 riders, which culminated at Reid Park for a time of prayer and worship. We had 15 ministry booths, five bands and seven pastors who led us in prayer and worship. We are already planning next year's event, considering February 28th or March 7th. We invite those interested in planning with roles such as prayer leaders, marketing, and volunteer management.
